I've got one Noc in particular - her name is Clash for a reason - whose colors are...less than satisfactory for me. But I don't want to get rid of her. I love her. So I spent the past few weeks agonizing over what to do with her.
And, lo and behold, today I have figured it out!

Haeln is a problem child. Her tert was basic for a while because I didn't want to ruin her greenness and then I added spines so that her offspring would be triple-gened but I just didn't like how the blue interrupted the green... so I added the skin kind of like you did.

Costella is also a problem because she's so pretty but her tert is ugly with her colors and she always has ugly babies no matter who I breed her to unless the range is very close... And even then then they all end up looking the same...
