For me the dark highlights on his body along with the grasping arms makes him a really scary dragon. Also his primal eyes make him seem more dangerous and feral.

This was such a hard choice all of your lair has a creepy vibe to it and all your dragons are amazing. I had to give it to your boy Ares here though, I think its all about the glowing red eyes.
