I have this brilliant pair of Guardians that I gened/breed changed myself quite a while back, but I haven't been breeding them for the general populace. Now I want to ~introduce them~ to breed babies for sale on the AH, but I had intended to fully gene them beforehand to give them a real crackly lava flow look.
This is the pair in question:

My original plan was to give them both Speckle/Freckle, but now there's Ripple/Current! Here's how they'd look with those genes:

Oh goodness, the ripple/current looks incredible, like cracked, cooled lava being overrun with fresh :D I mean, I adore obs speckle/freckle to little bits, but wow!

@Svae Right, right?! I didn't think it would look this good, but when I plugged in their deets in the scrying workshop after current dropped, my jaw also dropped :O it looks just like cooling magma being folded by fresh lava before it's completely hardened!!

ooh, i like them both! depends on the kind of look you want, i guess. specklefreckle looks like
a'a lava, and ripplecurrent looks like
pahoehoe lava.
if they were my pair i'd go ripplecurrent (and then cry because oh god so much treasure), but that's just me!

@kiwisson Ooohhh, I like the lava refs! That really helps put the genes in perspective...I like that speck/freck looks chunky like the A'a lava, but woooooooowwwwww the Pahoehoe lava looks insanely cool!

IMO make the female ripple/current, and the male speckle/freckle, and offspring will mix and match genes for fun results!
