He had a dream. There was a strange being in the field, looking up at the clouds as the sped past. It was a strange day, he was curious as to what the other being was doing. When he approached, the being asked him if he could have one wish, what would he wish for? He couldn't remember his answer.
Memory of the dream faded. He was getting ready to leave. It was as if his pain had soaked into the field.[/color]

And, for the first time in his life, he was truly happy. The two of them would watch the fireflies at night, ones that he'd barely noticed before. And even in the darkest of storms, they'd still come out to the field. It felt like something inside of him was no longer hollow. He had a true friend.

Nothing had ever been destined to last, not for him. He shouldn't have pulled another into his life, they would only be destined for pain.
He was sorry. So, so sorry. And he'd wait here for the rest of his life just to get the chance to tell them.
