Hi all!
So I've been trying to get back into drawing on my tablet and I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone so I decided to draw a dragon under water... swimming / diving .... and honestly I'm just so confused now.
I tried looking at reference photos of birds diving into the water to see what the heck their wings do, and that sorta seems believable .. but dragons have long bodies with two more sets of limbs and I can't figure out how their legs/bodies should look????

Super loose sketch looks ok..

but where do the legs go?? the shoulders, the hind legs??

tried to define more things to help me but i just made it worse??
Any helpful tips would be appreciated, I love any and all constructive criticism :)

Iguanas swim in a way similar to how I would believe a dragon would swim. Wings would be more tucked in, to allow less resistance when traveling in the waters. They can also outstretch their limbs when on rocks and coral reefs, to discover what the ocean floor has to offer. However, it's mostly legs and wings tucked in for traveling across oceans/large bodies of water

Thanks! I was thinking of them sorta swimming like snakes through the water like that, but that really helps visualize their legs :) I didn't really think of iguanas or lizards swimming so that's great. I'll take another shot at some sketches to see if it helps!
