Anyway! Small update, as I haven't had much time to write! I've been working on some maps of the clan's territory and currently there are two places to check out here if you are interested!

[/b] Clan Everbloom is located in the Nature territory, to the very east of the map, near the ocean. There are a few cliffs overlooking the ocean, but nothing too tall. Most of the thick forest areas are gone, leaving small groves or areas with no trees. [b]What is the clan's primary element if there is one, and how does your clan handle other element dragons? Is there an element that is excluded or disliked?[/b] There is no "real" primary element in the clan, though there are a few more elements than others. Currently, Plague is most plentiful, but they easily get along with the other ten elements. There is no element that is excluded/disliked simply because of that element. They will accept any and all dragons, as long as they are kind and respectful to the dragons that live there already. [b]Does your territory have different villages or a single populated location? What are the name(s) of these locations and what are they like?[/b] Currently, as the clan is small, there is only one single village that the clan calls home. It has not been named as of now, but the clan plans to name the villages as they expand and create more homes. The clan mostly builds their homes/living areas underground, although many dragons have created houses of their own on the surface. The Library is located near the edge of the forest in an old abandoned building the clan adds to when it needs more storage. [b]What kind of restrictions are put on outsiders? Is your clan very outsider-friendly?[/b] The clan is very welcoming to strange dragons! As long as a dragon is not rude upon arrival, the clan will accept them for their stay, whether it be a few days or a few months. [b]If there are leaders or a single leader, who are they and what is their personality.[/b] Currently, Morticia basically rules the villages by herself along with her mate, Gomez. The two created the clan together with the help of their friend Sakura. The three of them form a somewhat "government" to the clan. Morticia is exactly the opposite of what her name suggests. She's happy, enjoys the sunshine and reading by the beach. Although, she does enjoy the occasional dark humor and horror books she finds on the shelves in the library, she's very level headed and does not take well to strangers coming into the clan and telling her how to do her job. Gomez is a rather odd fellow. He enjoys the dark, and is usually found up late at night filling out paperwork for the clan or wandering the forests. He enjoys thunderstorms and sits at the entrance of the den to watch the strike of lightning fill the sky. [b]What is your clan's form of defence? Are there special groups, a designated member or two?[/b] Leemado is the clan's primary form of defense. He is always patrolling the furthest edges of the clan's territory watching for vicious beastclan or other clans that mean them harm. Occasionally he is joined by Jubilee, but she is more for company than any type of fighting. They can choose to have a small one, where they only invite family and/or close friends to a party. Here, they eat, say vows and are given gifts by the guests. Usually for dragons who do not want to make a big fuss or perhaps dragons who want the marriage to be a secret. The other option is a clan wide festival! The two dragons approach Morticia and request a marriage license. Afterwards, they set a date and plan a huge party where clan members and even dragons from other clans come to celebrate the marriage. The dragons usually wear white, but optionally, pastel colors are worn instead. The dragons recite their vows in front of an officiant and the real party begins. Music, dancing and eating commences, usually late into the night. For both options, after the wedding, the married dragons leave for a week for their honeymoon then return to work. [b]How does the trading post work? (do dragons go whenever? do specific dragons go?)[/b] Usually, this is just random dragons coming through the clan and buying items directly from the clan or selling items to the members of the clan. Occasionally, a dragon can travel to another clan to buy things. [b]Is there a market area?[/b] Yes! To the north of Shore's beach, there is a makeshift market area. The clan is making a pier-ish area where there will be tents and stands displaying their goods for other clans or their own clan members can buy from! This is still in it's infancy, currently. Note: The pier could be thought of as somewhat like the [url=https://pacpark.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/pier_2.jpeg]Santa Monica pier[/url] (but obvs without the ferris wheel, though, Zikel would LOVE to make one, tbh.) [b]Breeding?[/b] When two dragons are ready to breed, the pair talk about it deeply before they decide to have a clutch. When the two have decided, they combine their magic to create the eggs. Occasionally, emotional moments between two dragons have the same effect and can sometimes result in eggs to the pairs shock. (happy, sad and all emotions in between can cause eggs.) [b]Is there ranks?[/b] Besides the three who are at the top of the clan leadership, there are no ranks. The whole clan is equal. Morticia is occasionally called "Lady Morticia" or "Empress" but prefers just her name, thinking herself no higher than the others. [b]Food distribution?(do the elderly eat first? alphas/royalty?)[/b] During times of shortage, the hatchlings are first to eat, then the village and finally the leaders. Morticia and Gomez each want to make sure their clan is okay before worrying about themselves. Despite this, no, there is no reason everyone would not get to eat before another. No food shortages have ever been noted in the clans records as of yet. [b]Hibernation?[/b] Just another place where dragons are kept. Non-cannon. [b]How does gene/breed/eye change scroll work?[/b] Scrolls containing gene/breed/eye changing writings are rare and hard to come by. I have canonically made breed changes be able to be made (by using the blood of a dragon of that species to create the scroll) and then be read in an ancient language to cause the dragon to be changed. This will most likely be one of two breed changing that will occur in my stories, others will be omitted and treated as they were that way the whole time. Gene/eye changing scrolls will be treated the same way. [b]Selling/buying dragons?[/b] This is just where dragons come and go. Nothing special. [b]Exalting?[/b] Dragons are personally interviewed and trained by Zelda, the clan's primary exaltee trainer. After their training is complete, they are sent to serve the Gladekeeper, which usually means a ride in one of Zikel's flying ships to the deity. [b]What about the Coliseum? Is it a single location, or is the Coliseum a place somewhere a dragon goes to get a mission to venture out into Sorneith to battle in a set location?[/b] Typically, the dragons in Clan Everbloom who go out to train go to a grove not far from the main clan, but still in their territory to train. Rarely, they go out to venture outside of their territory for exercises unless accompanied by Zelda, Morticia, Sakura or Cosmo, as these can be very dangerous. [b]How advanced is the technology in Sornieth, or more specifically, in your little corner of Sornieth?[/b] Technology isn't as advanced as on Earth, though everyday Zikel is working hard to create more technologically advanced inventions. Work is slow as he is currently the only dragon working on these (and he's the only one who knows how to fix them at the moment). [b]Are the 11 elemental regions all there are in Sornieth, or is there more across the oceans that we are unaware of?[/b] There are no more elemental regions across the ocean. [b]What is your clan best known for? (Are they an exporting clan, exalting clan, or are they just known because of where they're placed (maybe a tourist clan)?)[/b] For the most part, Clan Everbloom is mostly a tourist location and an exalting clan. They live by a beautiful beach where the weather is fair for most of the year. Occasionally, they export goods, like Osiris' jewelry, but it is not something they are known very well for. [b]Do genes affect a dragon's life or say something about their life? (Easiest examples are Crystal, Facet, or Gembond)[/b] It may. (will edit later if I figure out exactly what) [b]How are hatchlings cared for in your clan?[/b] The whole clan rears them together, though a select few teach them how to be proper and how to use different tools they will need as adults. For the most part, Sakura is the main caretaker for most of the hatchlings that are born into Clan Everbloom. Occasionally, Morticia will lend a hand with them. On even rarer occasions when a hatchling requests to be sent off to serve the Gladekeeper (usually after they are a few months old and learned of exalting from their studies) they will study further under Zelda to reach their goal. [b]Are your dragons feral (as in, look like and interact with the world as they look on Flight Rising) or anthro / humanoid (a humanoid version of themselves?)[/b] For the most part, Clan Everbloom is all feral. Certain situations, however, I imagine they are anthro/humanoid versions of themselves. But I do not expect my readers to see this, so I write them as feral.
