I drew a base of the Imperials species! Anything I can improve on?

It's very good, my biggest recommendation is to loosen your grip on your pencil, and get into the habit of drawing this way.

There's tons of benefits to taking on a sketchy approach with your artwork. It's easier on your hands and most professionals don't make their sketches this clean.

It allows for a lot more expression, and makes the artwork look effortless, but of high quality.

Here's an example of what I mean.

This is actually a really sketchy drawing I did a few years ago. But sketchy and a little messy does not equal bad, it can even look professional with time and practice.

Don't be afraid of making imperfections.

With that in mind you did a very good job, I can see accurately that it's a hatchling imperial and I quite like it. I hope that's helpful.

@Monako I was going in for the clean look so that I didn't make it look to "original" So I didn't end up "claiming" the art fully mine, in saying this I am very appreciative for your response and I will try to loosen up a bit and go for more non "clean" looks to see if it can look better! Thank you for the feedback. :D <3
