Hello everyone! I love drawing dragons and gijinkas, but I still need a lot of practice. Also, at the moment I'm only able to do traditional art [size=2](I have yet to figure out digital and need a better PC for that xD )[/size]. For the last few days, I drew some of my own and other peoples dragons, and while my sister tells me that I did quite well, I wanted to ask you all about your opinion on that matter. [center]For this thread~ - I'm doing some [b]free art[/b] - and I'm also trying to [b]figure out how to price my drawings[/b] - and here are some [b]examples[/b] I made in the last few days[/center] [size=4][b]FREE ART[/b][/size] So I'm doing some free [b]dragon [/b]art! [size=2](tips are amazing, but not mandatory ;3 )[/size] I will choose [b]three [/b]dragons I find interesting, that inspire me and that I'm comfortable with drawing. So, it's not going to be first come, first served.^^ Please, only post up to three dragons of your choice! Could you also give me some critique and comments about my drawings? Slot: 1. @joina They look lovely! I'm really digging the bog and SD. Although the spiral looks a bit flat so you should probably add more shading since at an angle like that (front view) things do tend to look flat and 2D without proper shading. As for the wildclaw, just anatomy issues, since the snout is a bit too curvy? And not exactly like a wildclaw. Really lovely though! It would help if you could either add color/ink/digitalize these too! Also for shading I recommend checking out hatching/cross hatching or using a greyscale set of markers. I'd also like to know how long it takes for you to make something like this, it helps in pricing. But from what I see, you can charge probably 80k? 100k? Ish for something like this, more if you add proper color OUO Pick any of the three! @Joydom Ah, thank you so much for your feedback and critique! It's very detailed and gave me a lot to think/refelct about. (I'll definitely work on my Spiral and Wildclaws.) I have no possibility to digitalize my art at the moment (I'd love to try it out, but I'm still looking for the right Software to use as I only have Paint... ^^"). Will definitely think about using more color, ink and shading though! As for time, I stopped it for Yixing's drawing (little warning, it was my very first time doing a Nocturne). All in all it took around 1:10//1:15 from the first line to scanning the finished piece. I haven't added color (and my scanner is ageing) but I really hope, you don't mind.
