They had been lucky, this time. Able to rummage through the bags of the centaurs looking for supplies. Strips for bandages and a few old leaves were mostly what was on hand and the only meat was the centaurs themselves. Luna turned up her nose at that idea, she was not going to eat those beasts, not if if it was last thing she did.

There was an interesting stone found in one of the bags Luna dug in, round, blue and covered in... Erzulie paused in his search of the bags and started at the small stone Luna held in her claws.
“Let me see that” he reached out and took it, rolling the small ting in his hands delicately “Well ill be... its an egg!” he exclaimed as Luna looked at him in confusion “See..? it looks like like yours did.. but much smaller! It certainly cant be another mirror like you!” he took one of the leaves and carefully wrapped the egg in it and placed it in one of the satchles before he gingerly placed it over his unharmed shoulder. “soon, you might have a small playmate” he chuckled before he cringed at the pain of the wounds.
Luna watched him wrap the small egg then frowned and looked at him with concern “Hurt..” she repeated, still not good with words. She gently nuzzled up to him then urged him up. “Trees?”
“Yes, Luna.. to the trees we go” he nodded and got up to slowly start the hobble to the trees.

By nightfall they had arrived at the thick thatched of trees. Once under the cover of its thick leaves over head, Erzulie collapsed on the leaf littered ground and sighed “I am sorry Luna, we will have to go out hunting.. in a few hours, I need to rest”. Seeming to understand, the mirror flopped down on the ground beside him and started digging at the ground to entertain herself.

He healed over a few days, Luna by his side keeping him constant company. Erzulie checked the egg constantly, keeping it close to him to keep it warm , often tucked into his fur at times. Plant gathering was easier in the thicket, more to choose from and no more salty seaweed. Fresh water was easiest in the morning, when the dew collected on the leaves and that could drink from there.

Over these two days, Luna had grown immensely, feeding off of the small rodents and birds they could catch, even if Erzulie was very slow as he mended his wounds. She seemed a good hunter, always eager to hunt for new prey when Erzulie was not looking, or tending to the egg that would likely hatch at any moment. She watched the older tundra, concerned with how slow me moved and the ache in his wing and leg, if only she could help more.
An idea had struck her as she now stared at him, the night slowly starting to creep in. How wonderful would it be if he woke to find a pile of meat and leaves!! she could feed them both! And the new hatchling when it came! Her tail twitched in excitement as she tried not to make noise as he got up, no need to wake him right? She was big enough for this! She peered in the dimming light and grinned as she slunk off into the deeper part of the forest.

@Kaial,@Scyras Entry #5 Erzulie woke to squeaking and something small poking around in his fur early in the morning. He blinked his cloudy eyes and let them adjust as he looked down to see what was crawling in his fur. To his amazement, a small pair of vibrant blue eyes looked back up at him and followed by a surprise squeak as the small fae swung on his fur “Well.. hello” Her wings were the colour of the clear shallow sea and he raised an eyebrow as she climbed up to the top of his head and sat there in the fur, her little claws holding onto his horns “Are you comfortable up there little one..?” A small trill was her answer. Everything else was quite, the wind lightly blew through the trees, Too quite. He scanned around him, looking for the ever present mirror. “Luna?” he blinked, no reply, and no Luna. Sudden dread filled his stomach, the fae holding on tight as he pushed himself up “Luna?!” no reply, once again and there was no sign of her. Carefully taking the small fae and placing her in the satchel he had been keeping her egg, he began his search for the mirror. He sniffed the air, picking up her faint smell to his relief and began to follow it. Her trail continued on through the forest, deeper then either of them had gone before and the knot in his stomach began to return. Other smells joined her, wrong smells, beast clan smells and the smell of fear, Dragon fear. He tried to go faster, but his limp let him only go so fast and if he flew his wing would tire even quicker and he would be unable to see her through the thick canopy anyway. He suddenly froze in his tracks at a new scent... Blood. Slowly, he began to creep forward, closer to the ever stronger smell, dreading what he was going to find. He entered a small clearing, the small fae squeaking uneasily in the satchel and buried deep down as far as she could go. This was the scene of a battle, hooves and claw marks in the dirt, a broken spear stuck in a tree. Ice coloured scales littered the ground, answering to Erzulie`s worst fears, for whatever reason the young mirror had left his side.. it has surely been her doom. Luna was gone. (( Iam so sorry D: I messed up and was not paying attention when i was fighting :( luna paid the price))

@Altrntvevil Oh, man. The lower levels before you have all the battlestones are certainly the most dangerous and easy to get overwhelmed on. Poor Luna. ._.

@Kaial,@Scyras Entry #6 The next few days were tough, the little fae Erzulie had now called 'Mirage' needed his attention. Loosing Luna had been such an unexpected blow, shaking Erzulie to the core, the tundra had not noticed how much he had already considered the young mirror as family. The days seemed numb, even the pain of his healing wounds were welcome to the numbness of his mind. He had found an ideal spot to dig a lair, Hidden by some large boulders and a tree that was likely older then he could imagine. He dug behind the boulders, under the tree. Mirage tucked into a satchel that hung at his chest to protect her, there was no way he was going to let the little fae out of his sigh now. She slept as he dug. He dug into the night, packing the extra soil hard into the side to make a nice solid lair wall and to keep them form being found by a massive soil pile. He stopped when he had made one chamber, big enough for himself and of course, the little fae girl. He was filthy but his fur was used to dirt and soil, easily washable when eh had the strength. Mirage was out and about now, hunting worms as he sat in the inner chamber. He had made a small shaft that went up through the tree roots, venting air for them. From outside, the small hole looked like nothing more but a moles dug out. Laying down, he watched mirage frolic around the new lair, looking pleased as punch to be out of her satchel. Ezrulie shifted on the soil floor, frowning at the coldness of one spot and turned to peer at it in the dim light. He pawed at it and it felt like metal, rattling as he dug his claws at it. His curiosity took control over his exhaustion and he shift to try and figure out what precisely was burred beneath him. It was rectangular in shape.. and an odd type of metal, cold and dark.. and the smell, it was nothing like he had ever smelt before. He dug and pulled at it, eventually pulling the strange chest out of the dirt with a grunt. “What in the.. how did a chest get all the way down here..?” By now, mirage was sitting on his shoulder, looking at the strange chest from Erzluie`s vantage point as he cleaned away the dirt, trying to find a way to open it. There was a click and a bit of dust fell from the rusted lock and the tundra raised an eyebrow “Well, Mirage.. shall we open it?” he chuckled, the fae nuzzling closer as if scared. Pushing open the lid, he jumped as a large stick like insect crawled from the chest. He laughed, his heart racing for no reason as he caught the bug and passed it to Mirage “Go to town” she squeed with glee and began to happily munch on the flailing insect. He stuck his head more into the chest now, sniffing around at old cloth until he stopped against something solid, round. He paused, pulling out the small ridged orb and turned it around in his fingers “that almost looks like... -” he was interrupted by a crack, the small orb spilling down the side before a tiny wing protruded form it “An egg..” he sighed and began to help the small dragon free of its shell. “An odd little thing.. aren’t you..” the small bat like creature yawn in his hand, bright white scales gleamed in the dim light as he looked around and stopped when it saw the two dragons looking down at it. It gave a squeak of surprise, almost frighted at the large face, but that fear was short lived as it reached out to grab Erzulies two nostrils with a giggle.

Entry #7

He was quite the handful, active at night, sleeping during the day. Erzulie barely had time to even try to mourn the loss of Luna. He had at least managed to string some of her collected scales to line them near the entrance of there burrow. But now he had two energetic hatchlings he needed to feed and keep an eye on. He had called the new one Airon and he was not sure why, but the name seemed to stick. Airon and Mirage played in the early morning light and the late evening shadows, that was the only time they both seemed to be awake together.
In a rare moment of quite in the evening, the tundra scrapped a little spot for himself on the ground, curling up for much needed rest. Airon was perched upside down and hanging from a tree rot growing form the great tree above their burrow and Mirage had curled up and was now napping on a small ledge lined with downy leaves. Once settled, Erzulie fell quickly into sleep.

His dreams took him somewhere far from here, to a once familiar lair with foggy faces and muted voices. When he tried to speak, he found his mouth made no sounds. Squinting, he made his way deeper into this oddly familiar place. Every time he tried to look at one of the dragons faces, it was skewed and too blurry to make any sense of it, and the words they spoke made no sense. There was a blinding flash and shouts followed, and then he was falling.. falling forever, for an eternity.

He woke with a start as mirage was catching a beetle that has wandered into the burrow and now was crawling across the tundras nose. “ Mine!” she pounced on it once it had crawled off erzulie's nose “Yummy..!” she grinned and gnawed on the hard shell of the beetle, seemingly pleased with herself.
“Well.. I could have been woken by worse..” he looked up, noting the nocturne still slept up above him.

He got up and stretched, ruffling his fur with a big yawn. As he yawn he caught movement and light out of the corner of his eye and he paused. Rummaging around in the small pile of leaves and insects was a small mouse. Its whiskers glowing in the dim light of the evening. “Now see here!” he stormed over to stop the small thief, raising a paw to swat it away but stopped just short. The small ember mouse did not run, it stood there and stared up at the large tundra and had the audacity to even start grooming itself. Erzulie sigh and dropped his paw “.. another mouth to feed..?” it blinked up at him before it sniffed at the paw he had just placed on the ground and crawled up upon. “Just what I need”
