It's been a while, but I'm poking around the site a bit again! To start, I'm giving away all the remaining offspring from before my break so we can start with a blank slate. I will be taking an interest poll later on (if I decide to stay) that will also have more information on going forward. In the meantime, don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Sorry for the ping everyone! I'm back again, woohoo! So, here's what to expect going forward from BOTH of my hatcheries:

I will quite possibly create brand new threads for my hatcheries with brand new art, pairs, and more!

1. I will be creating a poll over these next few days to gauge interest in current pairings and gather data about potential new ones and other things like prices and rules
2. I will be commissioning all new art for all of the pairs going forward. I've used a patchwork of artists in the past and now given my long hiatus, there's no guarantee the same artists are still active. So, as a result, I will be overhauling the banners, pair art, and animations for BOTH Mortician's and Pastel Gardens Hatcheries. Each pair card will be fully animated and cycle through possible offspring pairings.
3. Some breeding pairs I own are in the hibernal den. The ones outside of the den will be bred and switched out regularly to keep hatchlings diverse, but I will also be making a new order form where people can not only preorder hatchlings from a specific pair, but also provide additional instructions such as preferred names, gender, eye color, etc for the hatchlings.
4. Ping lists and affiliated will be reset. I've been gone for a long time, and it is very possible some of you all are no longer active. As such, the pinglists and affiliates will be wipes clean. Of course, if you're still around and want to be added to the new ping list just let me know. I will make another post later with more information.

I will keep you all updated as some of these changes start to roll out.

In the coming days I will make a post containing that feedback/interest form, and I will also create a way for people to opt in and out of ping lists on their own. As always, if you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to reach out. Those of you who are still here, it's good to be back :)

Announcement time!

I am currently still working on hiring an artist to redo the graphics for this hatchery. I have found an artist for Pastel Hatchery, which will be undergoing a reopening soon, I hope! So, in the wake of this, I've decided to temporarily put Mortician's on hiatus until I am able to find an artist. I will still sell the hatchies I have now, but I will not be breeding any more pairs until an artist is found.

I will also be clearing out the pinglists! Hopefully, this will minimize the pinging of people who are no longer active/interested. If you're interested in being on either the general pinglist or the pinglist for a specific pair, just let me know! If you're already on a pinglist now and want to be added to the new one, please let me know as well. In the future, I plan on implementing a self-editing pinglist that I will update/reset maybe once a year or something similar to keep it fresh.

Once an artist is found, I will make another announcement letting you all know! That announcement will also have some details about next steps. Thank you all for sticking with me, and I'm so excited to make some improvements around here!
