This little guy is not nearly as fluffy as the Gao art. His fur is much shorter, including his mane. His mane also doesn’t puff out much. There’s a little tuft of fur on the top of his head that sticks up a little.
I’ll try and obtain a reference later when I’m on my laptop, but I’m thinking an indoor area. Simple wooden floors next to a set of patio doors that lead outside. For any details of the outside, it’s a simple lawn, no real details of anything else able to be seen since anything akin to a garden would be out of view.
For a pose I was thinking having him comfortably curled up looking outside the patio doors. Something has gotten his attention outside, so he’s a bit focused on that. What he sees outside the glass doors is not able to be seen in the background.
