I'm just gonna say, I probably would of failed math, my easiest subject, just because I...I don't understand angles well. That, or in language. I phrase things weirdly.
Maybe a mix between the first to the left and the last one, if you could. Looking down a bit, not all the way down. I'm horrible at telling things, and while I've been thinking about getting art for him for quite a bit, I didn't think it though properly.
( Imp's have such large necks....)

ItsASomething Oh, no worries! Pretty sure you did a good job phrasing it, I just wanted to be completely sure! (That, and maybe I just wanted to draw some weird looking dragons? :D)

Your art is yours, and it's amazing. :D
It wasn't really till I saw their heads in a straight angle that I really thought about it. I know they are supposed too but if you really look at a male Imps neck, then you'd notice it slowly getting smaller and thinner until it reaches the main head.
It's likely just the perspective of the angling but just imagine a male Imp without it's mane, same with the females necks as well.
Something like that....?
It's just me but when they're forced into a straight position it looks a bit strange, or at least the way I imagine it.
I get pretty weird at night...More than usual.

Hmm, I had no idea! Looking at them now, it looks really obvious and I wonder why I never noticed it before? Then again I realize I never do pay attention to dragon details until I start drawing them - it took me forever to notice that male and females coatls, for example, actually had different characteristics other than the direction they are facing. :o
I feel like most (all??) dragons have a sort of a curve to their bodies, so straightnes will make them look less natural, I suppose! Especially spirals. I don't ever want to think about a straight spiral, oh gosh.
