Grinding for the coli genes feels like a divine punishment from the Plaguebringer. I’ve been at this for a good couple hours now, with each battle taking less than ten seconds, and nothing. I’m even in the optimal coli venues for them - that was the first thing I looked up - but nope. I’ve picked up several battlestones and familiars, which is cool, but no genes. I get that these are supposed to be rare but gaaahh
On a more positive note, I’m grateful for the provided two free species changes. I’ve put them to good use - these new ancients have taken the Veilspun’s place as my favorite ancient breed now. I love them so much, which is prooooobably why I’m spending so much effort trying to get them all prettied up lol
Seriously though, this is exhausting. The end result will be worth it, but jeez
On a more positive note, I’m grateful for the provided two free species changes. I’ve put them to good use - these new ancients have taken the Veilspun’s place as my favorite ancient breed now. Dig up the normal ones, then go to Baldwin and transform them into the Abberation version :3

If it makes you feel better, I've still never had flecks drop from the coli since veils first released :')
