I'm sorry, but this gene just bothers me so much... sure the idea itself is really cool, but it seems very poorly executed. At best it looks ok on certain dragons, but the pattern coverage is extremely unbalanced on most breeds:

That's specially glaring on these breeds. Look at that [b]huge[/b] empty space! It looks as if this gene was only halfway done. The pattern should spread down to the tail and cover more wing area, but instead it drops dead at the dragon's upper half. This creates a really bothersome, unbalanced design because while we have a busy front half, the dragon's lower body is literally blank. Heck the gene is also very inconsistent from breed to breed, some dragons have filigree patterns covering a large portion of their neck, wing or belly. Others don't.
I can't help but have the impression the artist got tired of drawing all the intricate little filigree patterns and simply stopped at the wing, and to me this really damages the potential of such a cool gene idea. It's very disappointing.

Too busy in the face/head area, especially on some dragons. But it's pretty.

FINALLY I have a tertiary that I can ACTUALLY STAND TO PUT ON MY RANDOM PROGEN. She is aqua/storm/TOMATO and every gene makes tomato either look way to orange, or she looks like she spent a liiiitttttlllleeee too much time in the Coliseum and enjoyed it a bit much.
