Well, even though I haven't been able to coli grind at all and I've only found about two chests total from gathering, I have to say that this event is starting to grow on me. I've been able to buy chests by selling any extra items I get from opening them, and I've managed to find two eggs and one breed change scroll. So while RNG hasn't been very kind to me in the way of gathering chests, I'm pretty satisfied with my luck when it comes to opening any chests I do happen upon.

To get there though - it took a huge amount of hours grinding in the coli and using Swipp (and before you ask I have a full time job as well as just moving house so I am busy but was able to make the time i.e staying up really late, major planning)

Returning to FR after a long hiatus
I am sad that bears are so much more plentiful than eggs or scrolls or even apparel. I thought that when we voted to have the bears return at the end of the year, they would be rare.

The bears will not disappear once the event is over. The strange chests that you earn from gathering from the coliseum will disappear if not opened, though. Any items you have earned from those chests such as nocturne eggs or familiars will not disappear, only the unopened chest themselves. Hopefully this cleared some things up!
