The last thing the Brightclaw needed was another trickster, and yet there Apatilos was, arriving on the wind with a sly smile and bright eyes, the runes on his skin glowing blindingly. He's more lighthearted than Nox, certainly, but where Nox intends maliciousness, Apatilos simply gives no thought to the consequences of his actions, viewing even the most reckless and potentially dangerous stunts as harmless practical jokes. He's dangerous, this wind spirit, but his smile is so inviting.

His mate, the engineer Thalia, works with him to make his tricks and pranks a reality. Her intervention keeps his tricks from being too dangerous, creating more gentle versions of whatever he had in mind, thought sometimes he pouts at her for taking the fun out of his ideas. They love each other rather fiercely, however, the spirit and his engineer, and the two produce an interesting phenomenon when they kiss or touch- small storms appear where they meet, lightning and wind whirling around them, sometimes growing out of control if they're not mindful.

Apatilos knows that Nox hates him and may or may not be provoking the other dragon on purpose. Nobody knows it, but Apatilos is of the opinion that there should only be one trickster, the better trickster, and, in his humble opinion, it's him. Nox had to turn to the Shade, after all, while Apatilos has his natural affinity for tricks and magic. He can't exactly drive the other trickster out, though, but what Apatilos can do is infuriate Nox: giving him another rivalry pulls Nox further and further away from the path of the Shade that Fairuz wants him to walk, and, if he gets too far away, he'll end up an outcast from both the Brightclaw and the Shadeclan. The thought makes Apatilos smile. 		wind_3.png
