Biography
· Level-Headed | Mellow | Realistic ·
If it comes, let it come.
If it goes, it's ok, let it go.
Let things come and go.
Stay calm, don't let anything disturb your peace,
and carry on.
Sadie felt the sunlight dapple her scales, and she closed her eyes, letting the warmth soak in. She was sitting outside in a garden of rocks, bamboo poking through the gravel every few intervals to provide depth to the scene. It was quiet, and peaceful. She loved to come here and sit for a while, just to let herself connect with the world around her. Sometimes, when her feelings lay stagnant inside her, dark and heavy, Sadie found that it helped her to rest and breathe.
Before she could get too wrapped up in her environment, however, Sadie heard the shuffle of claws on gravel. She opened one eye to see Typhoon, standing a bit awkwardly, trying to hide something with his wing. She smiled, and stretched.
“Looking for your cats again?” she asked playfully, glad to see him. No matter how many days passed, her heart was always lighter with Typhoon. She didn’t think that would ever change.
“No,” he replied, loosening up and coming closer, “I was looking for you.”
“You’re not very good at hiding things, you know.”
Typhoon’s eyes darted over to where a petal poked out from behind his wing, and he looked sheepish. “I wanted it to be a bit of a surprise.”
“I’ll close my eyes, then.” Sadie obliged, and heard him come closer, felt him drape something over her neck. When she opened her eyes, a delicate rope of flowers was hanging around her throat, with Typhoon looking very pleased.
“I don’t know what the flowers mean,” he said, resting his head on her shoulder. “Not in flower language anyway. But from me, they mean I love you.”
Sadie smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners, and spread a wing over him, leaning on him just as much as he was leaning on her. That was why she loved him. He completed her.
“I love you too.”

Notes from a previous owner:
Written by Spidergirl #10555
Sadie was the first Snapper I ever owned.
I fell in love with Snappers as soon as I saw them, and I had taken out a reservation on a Snapper pair on my first or second day of joining, but I had to wait for about the 3rd or 4th clutch. In the meantime Snappers were expensive and rare.
But about 2 weeks later I found this little girl on the AH, fell in love and managed to just about afford her. I saved up and gened her myself.
Her first breeding was with a stud, and after that she had a few different partners, before deciding that enough was enough and she preferred a quiet life.
(By the time I got my Snapper from the reservation, Snappers were no longer rare, I had a large collection of my own, and I think I ended up exalting him.)
