The Fathoms are returning. But you didn’t expect them to come from SPACE.
From galaxies far, far away, they erupt like solar flares. They fall to earth in waves of light, bringing with them knowledge of strange suns and alien worlds. But exposure to all the light of the universe has changed them. Their very bones have become infused with solar energy, shining so brightly you can see them through hide as dark as deep space. A very few have maintained their opacity, but solar particles flit about them like fireflies in the night. With gilded wings and eyes bright as stars, they are beautiful but not quite "dragon" anymore. Still, they heard the call.
