Biography

"Welcome, welcome! Oh, what's that? Ah, I recognize that book anywhere! I'll just be taking that~"
Solace is often misunderstood when it comes to his hobbies. Rather, the ways in which he sustains it are often... less than ethical. He happens to be so infatuated with obtaining more knowledge that he will often go to extreme lengths to obtain it. He doesn't quite look the part, but he is truly a bookworm at heart, and will offer grandiose sums of treasure to obtain the missing volumes from his collection. But, as with the rest of his den mates, his own hoard isn't bottomless. When he can't seem to scrounge up enough coin from his satchel, well... he tends to borrow the things he wants. Permanently. He'll insist he's had it the whole time! Oh, but of course, you've been missing the first volume to that series for ages, you don't remember? His skills at gaslighting are developing exponentially with every scroll he steals, it appears.
Solace doesn't often have strong opinions about most dragons. Most dragons. Script, however, has earned herself her reputation, and Solace is adamantly not happy with her kleptomaniac tendencies. Just as he pilfers more tomes from the bookkeeper's shelf, she manages to weasel her way into his hoard and stick her snout where it does not belong. Solace ironically doesn't take well to people touching or taking his stuff, so naturally, he is markedly guarded when the Undertide is around.
