J A C K . O F . T R A D E S
Bareyla was always a bit of a drifter. Never really settling down for a long time, she always traveled to her heart's content. Barew was a longstanding companion, the nocturne following her at first from a distance before the pair took to traveling together. In order to pass through the many places that she did, the pair became handyworker dragons; a (combined) jack of most labor trades and master in none. Her skills of trade ranged from (slight) metalworking to maintaining/cleaning up lair spaces for special events. From Building intricate contraptions to wrecking brush and unused lair spaces to make room. Wandering wasn't a thing most dragons could do freely, and more often then not bad things were liable to happen should a dragon not have a sufficient way to pay for staying. Even for less than a day, she would always work for her permission to wander through the lands, with Barew at her side. He was good at mimicking, and as a result had also picked up a rather large range of skills that were applicable. The two didn't carry very much coin on them, to keep from getting robbed while they traveled despite being paid quite handsomely at times. Once they wandered into the Scarred Wastelands, it became apparent that they would need shelter from the harsh and unforgiving landscapes where only the strong and tough survived. When the pair did eventually find the Rotrock Drifter's Refuge they decided to try and ask for refuge. They wouldn't survive for very much longer out there on their own and it wasn't known whether or not any of the clans withing the area(or farther) would be as kind or accepting of drifters. They paid with what little coin they did carry and took to maintaining the lair's inner workings as a continual payment for them taking refuge.
