Biography
Höðr (Hod) is the Norse god of all things cold and dark. He is the son of Odin and Frigga, and is blind. He was tricked by Loki into killing his twin brother Baldur with an arrow made of mistletoe. Frigga made everything in existence swear never to harm Baldur, except for the mistletoe, which she found too unimportant to ask
Loki, upon finding out about Baldr's one weakness, made a spear from mistletoe, and helped Höðr shoot it at Baldur.
Höðr was later killed by Vali, his half-brother, born specifically for this task. Though Höðr died, he and Baldur were alive once again in the world created after Ragnarok.
