Kalei is a very quiet dragon who sells her art for a living. Though she lives with the other saved dragons in Sojus home, she tends to stay locked up in her room with a chicken for companionship. She likes her personal space and can get irritated if you force yourself into it, but otherwise she is very kind. She buys paints through Myka, and has noticed the difference in how he acts around her compared to everyone else, but it’s of no matter to her. Since she and Mycelu are both introverts, they became best friends and will often sit together in silence doing whatever they could’ve been doing alone.

She loves her chickens(Ebony(the black chicken), Ivory (the white chicken), and Pearl(the silver chicken) (yes she named them after their colors. Ironically despite being an artist, she isn't very good at naming things.)) and met her familiar while protecting her chickens from it. Now her Jade Troodon is docile around her chickens and in fact protects them. You wanna know what she named her JADE troodon, who is JADE colored? She named her Lapis.

When Soju saved Phantom, Kalei immediately fell in love with her baby brother. She would let him watch her paint and would try to teach him whatever she could. She is extremely protective of him.
