keeper of xolotl and naomi's dynamic:

funnily enough, these two are quite close in combat - xolotl because she loves the frontline and leading the pack, naomi to be protected by xolotl by the horde she's leading, even if naomi can command them (she's quite fragile as a small fae). if they were to betray, the other would strike back immediately, leaving both of them dead (xolotl "exalted" and mentally gone, naomi genuinely dead).

their relationship is complicated, especially for naomi.

at first, naomi hated it all. the fighthing, the power, this body and this life - all of it was horrid, never what she wanted. but she had to get used to and warm up to it someday. she's still enemies with xolotl, and dislikes her in general, but for the rest, she's almost become bored of it all. like strike, she's cold and closed-off.

she's also quite apathetic to the horrors of war xolotl loves to indulge in, more focused on keeping herself alive during the charge. it's happened so often that, yeah, she's gotten used to it. there's no way out. there may never be a way out; may as well, right?

xolotl has always been naomi's overeager advisor. she's the one who summoned her, after all, for an even greater taste of power and fame. she knows naomi dislikes her, but in her words, "oh, she'll warm up eventually."

she's aware of not just her dislike, but also her distrust. if naomi ever defects or betrays, xolotl will be quick to return the favor in blood. a new naomi can be summoned, befriended, and shaped. she will admit, though: this one is charming. she's got quite the personality now, and it really would be a shame to lose her.

especially when she shows so much future potential.
