Lore The day she joined the clan, something changed. Flowers wilted, trees fell, decay filled her lair. But in time it grew back. Stronger, thicker, more vibrant growth. Vines and trees and bushes; anything you could imagine. Yet still, the death and decay remained. Buried in the undergrowth, in rotting logs and fallen leaves, all got returned to the soil it came from. The mandibles of insects and the mycelium of fungi reducing dead plants to raw nutrients, and the fungi and insects would die too, falling to the soil once again, feeding the plants they would someday feed on. She guides souls into the afterlife, and into their new vessels. While her sister creates, she destroys. But her destruction isn't violent. It's slow, beautiful, and full of new life. As time goes on, the cycle continues. It always will. She rarely speaks, and when she does, it's quiet and cryptic, riddles and metaphors carried by her voice. She speaks in birdsong, in the rustling of leaves, in the sound of a rushing river. She speaks in death, in rotting, in the buzzing of flies. She speaks in life and death, in the cycle of nature. |

At the end of every month, the dragons gather around an ancient tree. They sing, they mourn, they speak. A gathering to celebrate the passage of time, the change that comes with it. When the sun sets and the moon rises, and the stars glow in the sky, they let go. They let go of the past, and celebrate the arrival of the future. Things will pass in time. Wounds will heal, old life will decay to soil, and new life will arrive.
