an entity formed from the botched attempts of fossil reconstruction by a modern academic. the return of its long lost kin, the aberrations, stirred its bones to life in the excitement - but they were too far scattered. parts misplaced, speculative replacements tacked onto those it still held onto, it was an amalgamation at best and not its only self.

their lost fragments continue to gain lives of their own, all waking to their own respective facet of personality, and all just as confusing to the sane mind. all past is forgotten and all individuality, all singularity, thrown to the wind. selethra is an earthbound plague slowly spreading, every splinter birthing a new, determined offshoot with little end in sight.

perhaps even reduced to dust it will remain, cackling all the while.
