Silthus originally was a kind soul, who actually had a soul, and constantly aided in the hospitals and health tents that filled good portions of the huge city he originated in. What could've caused this onset of a sudden incursion from the Shade into his mind body is unknown to all but him, as it's the only memory that seems conscious left inside.

Feeding off his magic, it warps his perspective vividly, making him question what truly could be in front of him. His sanity was already gone by the time he reached the clan, unable to remember why he was even there in the first place. Memories seem distant to him and difficult to recall, just like willfully acting. It's too late for him; the only strength he can muster is controlling the violence that tends to leak from him if the Shade gets the best of him.

 		The Shade that inhabits his body chose to travel to this clan by a faint calling somewhere in the region. Because the chunk itself barely has enough for intelligent sentience, there was no dubious questioning in this siren-like beacon. Silthus could feel the signal back when he had more control as well, though he followed it in hopes it could be the source to fix his fated ailment.

Silithus can barely speak, as whenever he does is most likely spoken through the Shade portion instead of his own voice. It's neither Draconian nor Coatl, but a jumbled mess of sounds too mixed for normal creatures to understand. There are very very few drakes in the clan that can understand what he says.

Negative emotions can agitate the corruption easier and can cause it to burst in a fit of violence. While Silthus can normally control its urges, it isn't always the case due to his slowly-waning strength, and can sometimes be unable to stop it from attacking others around him. Because of this, he willingly strays away from the others in the clan and rests commonly somewhere desolate. Doing this also reminds him of how much control he still has left.

xxx ■ Silthus only talks with Phano, who comes up to him instead of the Coatl finding the Nocturne. Phano doesn't speak with "Silthus", he speaks to what possesses him.

xxx ■ The Shade itself can visibly show itself for short durations of time, originating from Silthus' chest, right where the feathers meet his neck. It is wise to run as far as you can from him once this happens.

xxx ■ His diet used to be seafood, but ever since losing most of himself to the corruption, he can only feed on meat and seafood, but preferably meat.

DYc14Nm.png 		Because of the corruption and its abilities, Silthus can morph himself into forms that transmogrify his entire physical being. He grows in size, his features like his feathers and wings sprouting an abundance of their amounts, his talons lengthening and sharpening, the rest of him stretching out his form of a Coatl. Reason leaves his mind, filling the empty space with nothing, and finding anything that moves as a hostile threat to him.

Not even Phano can control it, as the beast he turns into moves without explanation most of the time. There is little anyone can do to keep him down long enough to revert back.
However, there is one simple exception. There is a Pearlcatcher, somewhere in the clan, who is able to keep him calm whilst he's stuck like this. While no one, including herself, knows how it happens, everyone understands to take him to her once this happens.
