Night was very cute as a hatchling, and was wading in the river one morning when he was bit by a baby Gladeveins Needletooth. It was seemed scared, and seemed not to mean any harm. He picked it up, and it started liking the bite. He affectionately named it Chompy, and returned home, only to find his parents had left without him. Theberos and Tarathiel had left him on his own. Two years later, he found another dragonet, named Stella, who was living with two dragons named Blight and Cristal. She invited him to join their new clan, and he accepted.
