Joined the clan as an adult Guardian.
Pero is a gargoyle.
In the sunlight, he reverts to solid stone - a living statue who cannot move or speak. When night falls, the stone dissolves away and reveals his natural colours and scales, once again allowing him to roam free.
One exception to the day/night rule is Halloween. Gargoyles awake with the rising sun on Halloween day, and get to experience the world in daylight just once every year.
Because of his immobility during the day time, unmatched patience, and skill in observation, Pero has taken a position of night watch guard. From the highest ground in the clan's domain he perches, watching over the entire clan with a sharp eye.
