Not long after reaching her adulthood, Sarval felt the call to leave Rosecloud Sanctuary. With her Stag Figurine underwing, the first step of her journey began.
Through the Tangled Wood and Scarred Wasteland she travelled, wandering wherever her fancy led her. Upon crossing the threshold to the Starfall Isles, she found herself in awe of the eerie silver-barked trees that seemed to reach up into space itself. It was amidst the shining night blooms that she found the origin of her first calling - a small purple-winged Guardian. Curious, Sarval approached the sleeping figure, not seeing the four fuchsia eyes looming in the undergrowth nearby. As she bent down to sniff the Guardian, a shriek sounded and a blur of pink tackled and pinned her to the ground. Now nose-to-nose with a snarling Mirror, Sarval panicked. She was only trying to say hello! Thankfully, movement from the Guardian stirring seized the Mirror's attention. His rush to her side made Sarval realize, he was in fact, guarding the Guardian! The distraction served an icebreaker, as the three then introduced themselves. Volkaith, the Guardian, had been injured rescuing Szkith, the Mirror, and he had been protecting her ever since as she recovered. It took no time at all for Sarval to join this unusual pair, the trio founding a lair amongst the glittering trees. Time passed and Sarval glowed as she witnessed not only new friends join the trio to form a flourishing clan, but new life as eggs hatched beneath starry skies. She even found herself brooding over a clutch of three little ones. As her children grew and moved to pursue their own dreams, she sensed another call on the horizon. With both moons hanging full in the sky, she bade her beloved clanmates a teary farewell. She knew there would always be a home for her here, but for now, somebody else needed her... | x |
