QUESTIONS 2 ASK FOR FEYBEAST IC
should i have multiple species, or focus on one?
i have a few different concepts for species right now (about 5, with 2 being fully finished.) should i narrow it down based on what people like more? is having multiple species overwhelming/not interesting?
opinions on a rarity system? how should it work?
right now there's two ideas: A, where each creature has a different rarity (3 star, 4 star, and 5 star with different pull rates, like a gacha game; just not as brutal). or B, a system where different species-specific traits have different rarities, maybe with mutations or something. i'm hesitant to combine those two because that's a lot of wheel spinning for me .. or i could just ditch the whole thing if that's more appealing
booster items for pulling?
this one kinda depends on what the final rarity system is, but should i make items that boost things like (for idea A) 4-star or 5-star pulls? for B, should i make boosters for different traits? or just ditch the idea altogether? i don't want to make things overly complicated.
marking/trait systems? accessories?
ugh im so lost for what to do here .. one specific pattern per feybeast, maybe like fr's gene system? a base color with 1-3 markings? only thing i'm sure of is different physical traits unique to each feybeast (like horns/tails/etc). also should mutations and purchasable accessories be a thing ???
should i use a limited color wheel or flight rising's?
not much to add, i could make a custom one that's a bit more unified than fr's so there's less super unmatchy pulls.
