He’s small and angry, constantly at odds with everyone around him. He uses this to guard himself, deeply lonely yet too much of a scared child to let anyone close. So he defends himself with sharp claws and gnashing teeth. It is easier to be angry and scary than it is to be lonely and sad. There have always been plenty of kids to play with and plenty of adults to take care of him. But he never let them. His fear of being abandoned again is too much. It makes him angry and violent, attacking anyone to get too close. Instead he comforts himself when nobody is looking, becoming soft only in the depths of night when nobody can hear him sobbing. He never wants anyone to be close to him because those who are close always leave.
