Biography
Azem of Konoe. Also sometimes used as an Emmerololth.
Will probably include information on both versions at a later date.
Jobs
Sage, Monk, Pictomancer, Warrior
Notable Creations
A variety of flora (many of which helped further medical research), her giant four-legged roadrunner familiar Aethon who is more interested in helping people than being a faithful mount, chocobos (she considers them "Aethon's children" with their personalities).
Her Emmerololth form is more specialized, with a very strong preference for working with plants over animals. Especially ones that don't eat people. The Azem version actively experiments and has, for the most part, overcome her fears surrounding creating "anything with jaws" as she'd put it. That's not to say she doesn't have weak areas, though.
Early Life
Soteria's birth and life as a young child were fairly ordinary until she was roughly equivalent of a five-year-old. It is at this unusually young age that her abilities to use creation magic began to form, which quickly proved problematic. Being so young, she lacked the logic, control or attention span to properly cast such spells, often resulting in failed casts or worse, something actually being created.
Most of those who developed this way quickly grew fearful of creation magic, but she was determined to figure it out. This cost her everything.
The eventuality of creating something ferocious did come, and the amorphous monstrosity took just about everything from her: her family, her home. They'd lived outside of Amaurot for some time, but the Azem of that day, Venat, was able to at least save her. Yet she knew the Convocation likely would consider her a danger to the overall peace, given her potential mixed with her complete lack of control. Even if she seemed absolutely terrified of creation magic at this point, Lahabrea was not going to let her slide if she was found.
Not that that mattered to Venat. She adopted Soteria, even with her being completely traumatized.
When Soteria got her room, she barely left it. She'd occasionally step downstairs to get food before heading back up. Venat did everything in her power to make her feel loved, but at this point, there wasn't much she could do. It was just a gradual process of winning her over, unfortunately.
It is at this point that Soteria started to take an interest in crafting. She was too terrified to cast another creation spell, especially anything with jaws.

Dynamic Creation
Her casts are 100% aether. Dynamis merely gives commands.
Will probably include information on both versions at a later date.

Dynamic Creation

(In order to cast a spell with dynamis) There's a few main things she has to decide. The intent, the aspiration, and the hope.
The intent decides the purpose of the creation. If it is meant to heal, she'll "dream" that (that word would be used a lot, and she typically describes her method as "dreaming up" as she doesn't know what dynamis is). If she wants it to do something very important, that will be imposed into the creation.
The aspiration basically gives the creation their outlook. Taking Aethon for example, Aethon always wishes to help others and has an excitable personality. That sort of thing would take form here. This always ends up happening one way or another, with her always getting sidetracked to this if she tries not to.
Hope. This is what she makes sure she wants to do right, and can sometimes be more of a worry. These details will largely be the same, but she can't include the entire spell here.
As you could imagine, the dynamic method involves a lot more randomness than the typical logic-based method. Casting a similar spell to the one you just cast, without the understanding of what you just did, could result in something entirely different. That said, you usually know the type of creation you're making. Soteria has worked this randomness down, but even in creations that are identical in design, there might be small differences (think tulip cultivars or one dog being white and another brindle). She's learned to deal with that, as I don't think that particular issue is a problem when it comes to submissions.
