Ivesce lived in the Southern Icefields for a very long time. He was raised by a loving clan, but he grew restless. He found his clan was much to aggressive and battle-oriented than he was. To remedy this, he left home once he was an adult. He originally went to the Sunbeam Ruins to study medicine and healing. After he thought he had learned enough, he left his new light friends to journey to a clan that could use his skills.
When he met Clan Ethereal, he decided to stay. He quickly became friends with another coatl named Merierid, and the pair became partners eventually. He knows that Merierid continues to breed with the ridegback Ganelon, but he trusts her enough to be okay with that fact.
Ivesce is very kind and caring. He loves fluffy cuddles. He is very proud of his healing abilities, and he does everything he can to aid his clan with his skills. Ivesce is kind of passive, and has some trouble standing up for himself. Thankfully, Merierid will often do it for him.
When a newcomer named Nosyn joined the clan, Merierid urged them to speak with him. Once they opened him up, they became fast friends, and soon, partners.
