Born of Qirin and Enderth, Grayscales was born in a time when Teres Obfucia's roots hadn't quite burrowed into the ground. At her birth, she was as normal as a hatchling could be, and no one could be happier than her parents.

When Grayscales grew older, her interest in skulls and spirits grew. She would speak of worlds far more vast than Sornieth, of a darkness welcoming beyond the sky that held no beasts. She spoke of whispers from bones that told her, "Please, don't leave me here." Grayscales bears skulls and keeps bones of the dead crowned with feathers, so that the spirits may be more content with their afterlives, still roaming Sornieth. The gems she bears enhance her spiritual powers.

Over time, the Mirror dragon became known as the 'Angel of Teres Obfucia,' due to her divine-like ability to see and hear spirits. She has had many children, lost many children, and watched many leave her. Grayscales and her familiar, Red, are often found roaming the darkest depths of the Tangled Wood, in search of more lost souls.
