The oldest of the Cursewielders currently alive, Abyss has mastered the art of making a dragon see what isn’t really there. She uses this most often to make it look like she vanished into thin air, or to seemingly take the form of a different dragon. Her illusions don’t affect anything that actually exists, and are simply tricks involving reflections that fail if someone other than her touches them, but she can make them convincing to the point that a dragon could stand next to an illusion of another dragon and never notice.

Abyss has only one big fear: being known. She loathes the idea of someone who is good enough at reading another’s character to the point of knowing that dragon’s whole story; the thought of someone else knowing her more than she does herself scares her. So she makes sure that she is a mystery. She changes her voice often, speaks in cryptic riddles, and cloaks herself in illusions to the point where few even know what breed of dragon she is, so that the only one who truly knows her is herself.
