Before returning to the nature flight, Omen spent a short period of time in the lighting flight. Sharing a den with one of the various engineers that served under the Stormcatcher, whom cared for and managed the not only the Turrents of the Goldensparc but the Wiretangles as well. The two shared dreams of bringing something that would help the dragons of the shifting expanse to ease their burdens of the seemingly endless work. Unfortunately, these dreams eventually turned sour. With each new invention meant to bring about an easier life for others, followed a fair amount of treasure with it. And soon the two became greedy, any hopes of making life easier for the workers where gone. They began to bicker more and more often, about what direction they wanted their products to go. So the two split, breaking even with their profits and moving their equipment to separate dens. While Omen still hides himself away, chasing after riches untold; his previous mate Hemlock has recently been returning to their original idea. Inventing items that will help ease the burdens of other workers within the lighting flight. Only this time, he chooses to give his works away for free. Worried that he will return to that bitter mindset that tore both he and Omen apart.
