Lilli's Notes ____________ I never thought I'd see the day when I'd see a real-live Gladeveinian, much less live with one! In some ways, it's actually weirder than living with Striders: everyone knows the story of the Wandering Princess by now. Everyone thinks they could fly up one day and see one. Not so with Gladeveinians. What's more is no one seems to know why they vanished all-of-a-sudden. Diagrams show a keenly adapted subspecies, perfectly suitable for life in the Gladeveins in every way, so whatever force was (is?) working on them is hardly ecological. The Loop might know--it was actually one of the new-gen Auraboa, Baurax, who tipped me off that this subspecies wasn't all gone!-- or maybe The Song, but not even they know everything! Seriously. They don't know how we got Jack-o-lanterns! And don't get me started on how the Behemoth can't distinguish between Nature dragons and non-sapient plants all that well.... (So no wonder no one knows what a "tree" or "flower" dragon is!) Anyway. So yeah! He's pretty nice, and having an open window into the last remaining/known Gladeveinian colonies is great! This should spark a new era of interaction between the gondoliers and us. Sweet! |
