Ilos was lost during an expedition; his siblings set out to find out about his disappearance and encountered his widowed wife, Yeongdeung.

One night, Yeongdeung flew over the vast southern sea. She daydreamt, whispered a wish to she stars, a wish that was buried deep within her heart. But the sky remained silent. She realized that it was late and she should return home to her clan. She turned around to get back to land ... and then there was this one star, becoming bigger and bigger. For a moment, Yeongdeung was stunned in awe, and her heart beat fast in her chest. And then she realized ... the star did not get bigger, but CLOSER! Yeongdeung tried to evade, but it was too late. The star hit her, and she felt like being smacked by a Mantarune. She fell. Now it was the sea that came closer and closer, she heard something like a loud clang, and than the water swallowed her within the blink of an eye. She shock off the shock and used her arms and legs to back to the surface.

When her head broke through the water surface, thousends of chips of cold, blue ice swam on the sea, shimmering in the silver moonlight. She swam to a near iceberg, which had a big hole right in the center, it was almost divided in two parts. Yeongdeung was wondering where this hole came from for a moment, she could swear that the iceberg had been intact when she flew over it. In the moment this thought had passed her mind, SOMETHING crawled out of the hole. At first, she only saw four red eyes, they almost glowed in the dark. Then fur, like shimmering moonlight and swathes of mist. And suddenly, eight wings, blue like the sea, like the most delicate Lume Daffodil. Wait a minute, FOUR wings? And then she realized that this was not one creature, but two, two young aethers, covered with snow and ice. The slightly bigger one, a girl with glossy fur and a strong, muscular body convulsed, and a rain of ice came down. She did not even pay real attention to Yeongdeung, but yelled at the slightly smaller boy next to her, a handsome, slender dragon with a soft, pale coat that seems to settle around his body like fog. "By the abyss, brother," the girl said upfront, "I do not know what you are thinking, but this is NOT a proper way to introduce yourself to a girl. And even if ... leave ME out of this!" The boy's face turned red. "But I never meant to ..." he started desperately. Then he glanced at Yeongdeung, embarressment in his eyes. "I ... I am sorry," he whispered, "I ... we ... did not mean to ... I am ... really really sorry ..."
