TLDR; She was going into her statue form when suddenly it stopped. So she's stuck being part dragon part statue and is looking for a cure.

The ability to turn into a statue was, truly, a gift from the Earthshaker. This Gorgon used well. She used to guard the lair entrance posted with an actual statue, using it as a disguise to safely watch the passing world. The rush of adrenaline when she stomped right in front of an outsider about to enter, the smirk on her face as the intruder's own turned from confidence to fear, the praise from the higher ups! It made any little annoyance worth it.

Until one day...

Like most unordinary days, this one started out normal. Get up, do stretches, eat, brush fur, and mist the plants. If her duties had to be categorized from what she valued most to least, taking care of the plants was the second most. Thinking about how plants were so robotic yet so alive made her feel something she could not describe. They had personalities. Needs and wants outside of what a care scroll said. Gorgon never thought about it for too long though, least she loose track of time for her number one valued job, being a guard.
