As you walk through the golden gates, a hulking figure looms behind Solaris. Thanatos, the right-hand man and scribe for his lord, stares at you from behind his grimoire. It is impossible to discern whether the blank gaze is one of intrigue or hostility. The only emotion you can see in him is an occasional glimmer of fondness when Solaris speaks.

You push past him quickly. The dragon lowers his head back into his book, silently reading the untold writings within. Perhaps if you returned with a secret to trade, he would be willing to give you a glimpse of the forbidden pages. Or maybe, perhaps not.
