Natalica was found during the first Nocturne rush, her egg hidden amid the nest remains. Her hatching was attended by most of the clan, causing an elaborate chameleon display by the new nocturne almost immediately. She doesn't change color any more and much prefers to wear colors no one else in the clan wears. She sometimes has difficulty accepting help from others, preferring to try and figure problems out on her own through dogged force of will.

Belladonna in particular befriended the new nocturne, as she herself was new and still trying to fit into the clan structure. Natalica followed her as the imperial investigated the herbs of the land and the nocturne listened. When she travels with the gathering crews, she can mimic the calls of animals to draw them in. She is also one of the few dragons in the clan to be able to understand Enishi's language and mimic it, which has earned her an honorary place with the border guard.

Now that Belladonna has moved on to another clan, the nocturne has taken her place in the gathering parties. She's learned a little of the imperial's herbal knowledge and with Thomas's help, she's taking the space Belladonna left empty. She rounds out the clan's healers, working with Thomas, Time and Shirubake to provide longterm natural care for the injured. She makes an active effort to include new members.
