Biography

The victim of a ritual sacrifice as a young child, being born with a pure white coat and sheep-like horns, everyone in his home thought of him as a blessing from the gods to combat the recent droughts that's been plaguing the small village. His golden blood will be spilled onto the dry soil allowing plants to flourish, and everyone thought Pallas must have been the gods' gift to them.

The villagers then thought to preserve the gods' gifts forever- they should entomb the young child, combining the eternal beauty of marbled statues and such wonderful temporary blessings. Pallas was presented to the altars when he could barely form memories, but somehow through sheer luck, in the middle of the ritual, he escaped.

The young dragon ran through miles and miles of forests, through terrain that no child should've ever endured with golden blood spilling out where his two heads connected. Two brains with conflicting concurrent thoughts racing through his heads, both of them knew they had to get out. He didn't know where they were going, but all that mattered was away.

At long last, the young Pallas collapses within the gates of what will become known as the Gardens of Elysium. When he had appeared, Rivergold and Lesmosyne were still active, discussing their future plans with this grove. The two saw the golden blood that the young one spilled and asked no questions but simply took him in.

No one alive now knows if Pallas's current condition* is caused by Lesmosyne's forgetful waters, or simply a result of his trauma. Either way, if you've asked Pallas where he had come from, his two heads would give entirely different stories. One recounts the moments right after his broken body was healed by the waters, and the other tells tales of grandiose adventures before his place here in Elysium.

Ammonite, the graduate student who has recently taken residence in the garden, has found great frustration with the dragon due to his incapability of telling a straightforward story but has also found company within the strange fellow.

*One head suffers from retrograde amnesia, while the other suffers anterograde amnesia!

While he is two, he prefers if you just refer to both as Pallas. They work together as one body, after all.
