Tinsel serves as one of the 'council members', who are a small group of dragons personally chosen by the clan leader, Abyss, due to exceptional moral stances and strong passion for the future of the clan. Actually, they are the dragons who Abyss chose to do the actual work while he was off looking for new shiny items or... whatever it is that he does.

Despite being the youngest council member, Tinsel is in charge of the vast amount of the day-to-day operations, ensuring that all of the dragons within the lair perform their jobs smoothly and without incident. She gained her position by being the only Nocturne during the Infestation to work with the Aristos once order had been (partly) established to remove the Nocturnes which had no intention of serving the clan and help select those who would be an asset.

She's also really, really passionate about Christmas. It's June, Tinsel. Flightrising doesn't even have a Christmas.
