Velveteen is the sweetest hatchling and oh my gawrsh, she is so totally still finding herself! A soft and gentle child, she is nevertheless curious and fascinated by everything. With a jester for a mother and an inventor for a father, she loves to make people smile, and to see what makes people tick... but she doesn't know what she wants to do with herself, quite yet. But she's happy to travel outside of Riddleport City and find out! With one of her mother's old hats on her head and her trusty Mock Firebird, Dale, she's ready to see the world.

Hi Mama!

The hat fits just right now! Dad gave me a journal so that I can keep track of my stories while I travel. It's nice! We also made some cool glowing clawtips for me when we stopped at the trading post in this new town. Have you ever met Baldwin? He's so cool.

Got to go! Dad is hoping we can find somewhere cool to spend the night, before we head off to a new part of Sornieth. Love you! - V


My first stop is going pretty well so far! I've already made a few friends, and I've been learning a lot about what dragons in the Scarred Wasteland and Tangled Wood do. Turns out they can be quite nice!

I met lots of performers in Crow Callers, of varying types. I loved the different jokes and acts that they put on! One of my favorite acts was that of Iraulie - also known as The Silent Chicken. As one of her co-stars announced, she's unable to speak, but she puts on an act through interpretation!

During my stay, I also made friends with terry (yes, his name is in all-lowercase).

I had a good time, but I'm off to have more adventures now. I hope my next stop will be just as fun! - V



I just made it to my second stop! It’s this city called Antumbra, it’s really cool here! Did you know that robot dragons were a thing? Because I didn’t. I met this one named Horizon, he’s got lots of cool stories. Apparently he was around before this city was even built!

I also made friends with these twin robots, Argent and Trinity! They’re real funny.

And then on the day I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the tavern owner, Kaloki. She’s letting me stay in one of the rooms for free! She loves travelers, since she used to be one herself. She also has this really cool robot wing thingy! This whole city is like half a robot now that I think about it.

My last stop was at the nursery, the little babies are so cute! And the dragons running the nursery are so friendly! These Aberration sisters who work there, ResinKora, taught me some things about sculpting and rock collecting too!

It’s probably time I get some rest for the night, I’ve got a long trip ahead of me in the morning. Let’s see what the next stop brings! - V


My next stop was in the City of Waterdeep and the strange worlds around it! I found a mate to travel with, now me and Truffle are off seeing the world together!



Erm, something happened on the way to my next stop... don't freak out or anything, but I was robbed! Some dragon stole my hat, clawtips, journal, and even Dale! Thankfully a nice dragon named Soric helped me get everything back. Except, Dale is green now! I don't know what the theives did to him... he acts like Dale, and sounds like Dale, he's just a different color now. Hopefully I can find someone soon who knows how to change him back!

In more exciting news... Truffle and I had three hatchlings! We didn't want to take them on the road with us since it could be dangerous, so we left them in the hands of our previous clan. I miss them, but I trust that they'll find good homes.

We decided to stay here in Quilrarth Clan for a while and rest. The dragons here are really nice! - V



I found my way onto a little clan with a bunch of dragons that were really nice to Truffle and I! We got lost in the Abiding Boneyard and were out of food. We thought we wouldn't make it out until we saw a dragon who brought us in and fed us. The lair itself is kind of cramped and could do with some cleanup and maintenance, but they're just trying to get by, which I understand. Either way, they were super nice and let us stay for a while.



I've just arrived at the Starflower Grove! It's quite nice and calming here. Truffle and I were able to take a bit of a break from our journeys, and settle down in the inn with our fellow travellers. I wish Dad and Mum could have seen this place; it's so idyllic and beautiful that I think they would fall right in love!

We've not been up to much, as Truffle's not been feeling very well, but I did get to work with the gardener, Hydrangea here! He's not a very outspoken person, but he was kind enough, and showed me the best ways to farm the land and grow seeds from scratch. Sadly, I don't think I'm really cut out for it, bit it was cool to learn! When I come back, I'll show everyone my gardening skills, and they'll all be so impressed! - V
