Biography
Fenrir
In Norse mythology, Fenrir is a giantic wolf.
In both the Poetic Edda and Prose Edda, he is the father of the wolves Sköll and Hati Hróðvitnisson. He is a son of Loki, and is foretold to kill the god Odin during the events of Ragnarök, but will in turn be killed by Odin's son Víðarr. Due to the gods' knowledge of prophecies foretelling great trouble from Fenrir and his rapid growth, the gods bound him, and as a result Fenrir bit off the right hand of the god Týr. Fenrir is the third child of Loki and Angrboda. Being assigned the female gender at birth, he now is male. As third royal child, Fenrir was always a bit pampered by his big sister and brother who love him dearly. Now that he has grown up he's trying to prove his worth and he recently became master of the hunt role: Master of the hunt familiar: Lyngvi, fire sprite relations: Loki & Angrboda (parents), Jorm & Hela (siblings), Freyr (godfather) |
