Kimiko grew up extremely sheltered. Raised as the youngest child of a large family, Kimiko had always been endlessly pampered by his parents, nine elder siblings and even his extended cousins.

Despite what one may believe, however, Kimiko fortunately had not grown up to be a typical brat spoiled by the constant coddling, but it did unfortunately result in him being rather stunted when it came to forming friendships with his peers in the village that did not involve him being bullied or mistreated in some way. As a result, Kimiko has developed a rather shy and reserved personality, though those that take the time to understand and befriend him would come to discover his kind and mild demeanour.

Among the older population of Mystorica, however, Kimiko is known as something of a child prodigy himself. With a keen affinity for blacksmithing and alchemy, Kimiko quickly made a name for himself as the town’s go-to blacksmith for all things related to metalwork, his skills outshining even those who might have dedicated decades of their lives towards this craft. Such was his skill that, at the young age of 16, Kimiko runs a successful blacksmithing shop called the Small Purrculiarities in the village.

Luckily, the older folk weren’t so much envious as they were in awe of Kimiko’s talent. Afterall, another skilled blacksmith meant another talented individual to help their relatively small community thrive, and they enjoyed discussing the interesting and curious insights Kimiko occasionally brought to the table regarding their trade.
