Venomwood Venomwoods are neglected Wooden Toy dragons. Regardless, Venomwoods get their name from the toxic oil that their heartstone cores begin to secrete in response to feeling loved and appreciated, learning to like that love, and then for them to lose it in some fashion and find themselves alone for far, far too long. As such, newly created Woodworks cannot become Venomwoods, but older ones can. A Venomwood’s response to their isolation and/or neglect can vary wildly. Some respond with confusion, others anger, others sadness. It all depends on their upbringing. A Woodwork Venomwood is stunted in their development and cannot develop directly into a Heartwood, but can become a Runewood. They must first find love again, keep it, and return to being a normal Woodwork. Yet, no matter how arduous of a task as that may seem, there is always hope for a Venomwood. Common Eyes The most common eye type, nothing particularly unusual happened in the creation of the toy. They may have been made by a craftsman that is used to making them. Common-eyed wooden toys are known for their stability, both physically and emotionally, and fare fairly well in strange situations. They are sometimes developed as a result of a long period of gentle peace in a toy’s life, but not always. |
