Mila the Shadow Imbued
Mila was born to mercenary Gaolers known as the Dark Stalkers and did not feel the pull to meet with the IceWarden as normal Gaolers do. She travelled along with her family learning to make elixirs from her mother, meditation from her father, and fighting skills from both. Where her siblings were happy to learn different types of fighting skills, Mila had more of an aptitude for magic. As a shadow dragon, she was able to make friends with shadow beasts and often caused a fuss with them; much to her parents annoyance. If Konstantin wasn't a master of meditation, there would have been many whippings in her future. Once it was time, her siblings left the nest in search of their destinies but her mother was worried about Mila's lack of physical combat knowledge. No dragon wants to be held back at home but what could Mila do?
After another lecture about how she needed to focus on training, Mila went to sit outside. What her parents didn't know is she already had a familiar, a young spirit of shadow that only she could see. Spirits are very special in the way that they only can be seen by those who share their element. Her spirit was named Mina and they often joked how they were practically twins with such similar names and ages!

Mina sought advice from Elder spirits who suggested that Mila refine her gifts by finding a mentor who could teach her how to defend herself using magic. Her parents agreed to the idea as long as they could find a master who lived in safety in a clan who had room for their child.

Irina knew of a new clan - Clan LunaVicious - whose leader was a shadow dragon. With any luck she figured if he couldn't help their daughter, maybe he could at least direct them to someone who could. The LunaSovereign line had been established there and are known to have powerful members in their ranks. With this knowledge, they travelled to the nature valley and were granted permission to leave Mila in the hands of Cloud who promised to have Mila live with the Keepers and learn to be a Caster-Crasher.

Finally at peace leaving their last little one behind - Konstantin and Irina move on in hopes that Mila never finds out what lurks underneath. Comfortable knowing that she maintains her meditate rituals and knows to make and take her monthly elixirs, they hope to see her again soon!

Over time, Mila (with Mina beside her) learns techniques to defend herself and even finds work going with a team on expeditions of the Workshop (to find finding resources). On one such trip, she happens upon a stranger who says something very strange to her...

this will basically be where she gets the shadow imbued title, where she learns of the voidsoul, learns to manage it without elixirs, and where she finds a mate.
