Jackdaw was found around 30 years after CCO's founding. He was nothing but a ball of rage and isolation, whose native tongue was understood by only one other Org. member, Arundel. Most dragons would agree that the aging Arundel had no use but filling up the loony bin, but his aid in rehabilitating and integrating Jackdaw into CCO gave him a dash of respect.

Jackdaw's birth-given name is Juqdai, a word that Arundel translates to "first-born" or in some more located tongues just simply "greatest." Around the six-month mark of his treatment at CCO, Juqdai accepted his new Org. given name, Jackdaw, in hopes of a fresh start with a fresh crowd of dragons. They may never equal to the members of his fallen tribe, but Jackdaw genuinely enjoys the company and sense of purpose. Jackdaw's skills as a tribe warrior fast-tracked him into the combat program where he eventually was apprenticed under xxx and later became The Shell of CCO.
