Two sisters, one as lovely as the pearly dawn, another as bright as the sunset's fire, arrived one day at the Morning Roses' gate. Both relating to be siblings of Zadkiel, and both keeping their faces hidden in the same manner he does.
Jophiel, like her sister, is highly interested in the wellfare of the dragons of Sornieth, but is a bit more spritely than her siblings. A living encyclopedia, it doesn't take much for Jophiel to begin an impassioned speech of all she knows about words, the history of words, the usage of them as art, and art itself. She adores when dragons pursue their artistic abilities, and encourages them every step of the way with...uncanny advice on how to make their work the best it can be. She's not just an expert in artistry, however, but staggeringly intelligent in many fields. Linguistics is her personal favorite, she can speak many languages fluently and adores teaching others how to speak them in hopes of them starting conversations with native speakers and forming lifelong friendships, but the amount of knowledge at her disposal is beyond impressive. Nothing makes this hooded enigma smile brighter than to see someone thrive in their element, gaining knowledge about their field or craft and putting it to good use. Making beautiful things that spread happiness and give the idea to others to do the same. The cycle of inspiration is one that she is forever fond of. Even more, if she can help dragons and Beastclans who are otherwise entirely different connect by seeing the beauty in each other, either in their art or the way they speak. That is the happy and shining heart and soul she seeks to help others attain.
While she is a frequent visitor of the Cleric's den, Jophiel seemingly strangely opted to assist the Royal Guard, saying that they seemed like they needed some help and a boost in morale and organization. Needless to say, Riyo is beyond relieved. Jophiel is sure to put her position in the Guard to good use as well. Just as strong as her sister, she's a force to be reckoned with in a fight, but she doesn't necessarily do fights unless it's against the Shade. The Shade she has no tolerance for. Aside from the most fearsome of Shadebeasts (of which she has done many a mighty battle with), most lesser creatures, dragons, and Beastclans have any Shade controlling them leave them as soon as they lay eyes on her. She says to anyone who asks her how she does this and that it's very impressive: "You should see my older brothers."
Speaking of brothers, she is very close with both of her sister and her brother. She sometimes may speak of her other siblings, and there are many and she loves them all. ...Though she goes silent regarding one part of the list. She says it's something she'd rather not talk about, only that some of her brothers and sisters - none that anyone knows personally and none she's talked about in anecdotes - stabbed her family in the back, that these same two-faced siblings did something awful to two very dear friends of hers, but that's all she feels comfortable talking about with the dragons.
